Work Week
I remember that I’ve been working on a logo design that I need to complete. I look over the sketches, decide on a direction, turn on the other computer that has all the software I’ll need, and find that my mouse and keyboard aren’t working. I check it all out and can’t find the problem. I’m starting to get a little frantic and search for the manual. After all the turmoil, I find that I had reconnected the cords to the wrong area, which refers to another day when I disconnected everything so I could actually close the furniture doors that houses my system. I feel good now because I fixed the problem.
After an hour or so of working on the logo artwork, I get a little hungry and make some appetizers. The menu consists of salmon, chopped red onion, capers, a spoonful of mayo, and rosemary flavored crackers. I take the plate back to the computer and eat while I work. By now my son has moved his game system out to the living room and is playing his new game on the bigger television set. This is also where the computer is so I hear a lot of game noises and comments in the background. Now my son is hungry but decides to have a left over drumstick so he fixes his own lunch.
Another hour has passed when I’m satisfied with the logo and decide to send it off in the email. I always love the challenge of designing a strong logo for someone.
It’s been a slow, rainy Sunday where we fend for ourselves. It’s a little quieter around here since my husband is gone and since he took our dog with him too. Bit I don’t mind the quiet once in awhile.
