The poor were allowed to do this at harvest-time so they could have something to eat. Lo and behold, on her first day at work, she meets the owner of the field, Boaz, who has heard all about her loyalty to Naomi. He blesses her saying, “May you be richly rewarded by the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge” (Ruth 2:12 NIV). Ruth chose first to place her trust in the God of Israel before she decided to go with Naomi. Through the following days, Ruth has the opportunity to see Boaz, and he always treats her with kindness. One day her mother-in-law makes the bold suggestion that she should not worry about propriety and ask Boaz to marry her. So she dresses up and sneaks into the barn where he’s sleeping in the night, lay down at his feet, and uncovers them. For us this would be an extremely odd way to propose, but in this culture it was seen as normal. When he wakes up, she asks him to spread his garment over her as well, which symbolized that he would protect and care for her as her husband. He accepts her proposal, but tells her to sneak away before dawn so that no one will know she came because they might think badly of her. That morning, Boaz makes the necessary arrangement for their marriage. Ruth is rewarded with a loving and rich husband, and Naomi is rewarded with a beautiful grandson who happens to be the grandfather of King David. What a story!

Everyone is so busy these days. I am, too, but I consciously leave time in my daily routine for what I consider the important things. I space out teaching my classes and counseling the clients I see so that I can have time for myself to read, meditate, talk on the phone with friends, and am around when my teenager gets home from school. I’m a single mom, so no one else is helping with income, but I’d rather live simply and have some time for things like this. Living simply means I don’t have cable television, for instance. I get regular channels and a few extra ones with the digital age, and that’s enough. Otherwise, I’d get hooked on that when I was at home. I also have dial-up internet service. I figure anyone who tries to reach me when I’m on the computer can email me or try later. Multi-tasking is highly overrated, as is having to be in communication with everyone all the time. I only use my cell phone for emergencies or check-ins, so I keep it in the car turned off a lot of the time. I cook nice, home made meals, though I do simplify things by getting some prepackaged ingredients at places like Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s. I guess “simple” is the word that would best describe my everyday routine.

We are fulltime RV’ers, who have lived a nomadic life for more than fifteen years, in a motor home, traveling and living in various places all over the United States. We’ve found ourselves in a variety of situations, but none quite so challenging for finding peace and quiet as this past week. We’ve traveled to northern PA, an area where we lived before we became RV nomads, to visit friends and family. Ordinarily, we park in the very peaceful fairgrounds here, and enjoy some weeks of visiting and exploring our old haunts before moving on. We miscalculated this time. Without thinking about it, we arrived just as the big annual fair was about to begin. Our normally peaceful fairgrounds have become a maelstrom of noise, diesel fumes and what seems like thousands of screaming little kids. I am practicing a Zen like ability to blank out noise right now. The midway is right behind our motor home. The Fire Ball seems to be the favorite ride, and goes in a big circle turning the participants upside down. Lots of screaming happening there. Last night was the tractor pull, where huge tractors, seemingly on steroids, showed their stuff. Oh, the noise…….. But……all was over by eleven p.m. Even the carnival guys were in bed by midnight. And it’s only going to be a few more days, and then……birdsong and blessed quiet again. It’s a good thing that our nomadic life has taught us to be adaptable. AND to recognize that all things pass.

I have been lucky enough to spend the last 2 years living in the amazing city of Seattle, Washington. I have lived in many lovely cities in our great nation but none have captured my heart and spirit like Seattle. From the beautiful landscapes and views at every turn, or the amazing food offerings, to the wonderful people that make this city unique I could not think of living anywhere else. If you love free outdoor activities then you will certainly be in heaven here. I have seen more for free in this city than the whole country put together. You can drive down to the waterfront in downtown to watch people or the ferries come and go, or you can walk along many of the beaches with breath taking views of the Olympic Mountains. Every time I catch a glimpse of these mountains I have to smile, they are that gorgeous. Seattle also offers the coffee and friendly culture of a population that knows how to enjoy its city. Sit and enjoy some java, with a view, and nice people all around you and you will agree, it just feels like home. I know there is so much more to this city than I have even stumbled on, but every adventure leads to something new. Come visit the Northwest’s best and fall in love with a clean, green, educated, fun town that will take your spirit on a journey.

The extra tie that I use I have always my mobile phone in game section, whenever I find time in my daily routine life. However, the chances of involvement are more in the game when compared to other types of leisure things. I would also ask my friends to do the same game in order to check my proficiency. Besides to this, it has been a regular in my way of life to spend minor part of my life in watching some useful program in TV. The programs like discovery channel, quiz competition and learning art are my major list in the TV. These would have been very interesting in watching and spending my time very usefully. These programs help me to hone the skills in all sense. Above all, I am a shuttle player for years together. The leisure time that I find would be spent in this play which has been very fantastic in my life as it gives more zeal and enthusiasm in my regular life.

Today’s dress to feel comfortable on a hot day My outfit today consists of jeans, a causal T-shirt, a pair of leather shoes with cotton shocks, a wrist watch and a pair of spectacle. In our part of the world most of the time the weather remains hot and humid. In this type of weather, jeans are most suitable as these are made of cottons and can absorb the sweat and you don’t have to feel uncomfortable. In addition, it can be used both at work places and as a casual wear. You need not be much concerned about its cleanliness. Cotton T-shirts are my choice for the same reason and they make me feel comfortable. My leather shoes are from Woodland. These are quite tough and last quite long. Cotton shocks are quite good for hot places. My wrist watch is from Titan and is golden in color. It is of traditional design. And the pair of spectacle which I have to wear to problem with my distant vision has a light black frame and suits me well.

I took a lot of time preparing the food as I had taken leave from office yesterday. In the beginning, I had Chicken Soup as I am addicted to it these days. Then I ate Manchurian and Fried Rice. I was having Manchurian balls after very long time. It was so tasty that I had a total of four Manchurian balls along with the Fried Rice. I had put a lot of carrots, cabbages and capsicums in Fried Rice. I love cooking and so it wasn’t all that difficult for me to prepare Chinese food. I had also prepared noodles for my husband. He loves noodles a lot. Even I had a bit of the noodles just for the purpose of tasting. For sweet dish I had made a Chocolate Cake. Although my stomach was full with the Chinese dinner, I had a big piece of the cake. A major portion of the cake had to be kept in the freezer for eating later.

I am always trying to be unique compared to others, especially when I get free times. Yes. My hobbies are quite different compared to other regular hobby listers. Usually, I will browse internet for knowing more news updates happening in the world. I am more interesting about news near my locality. Another hobby needs to be mentioned here is webcam chatting. After owning a new webcam, I will sit for at least an hour daily in front of webcams… I am thinking that I am quite smart in webcams… But don’t know what others seeing me think … But I will broadcast myself boldly in webcams… Cooking some new items in kitchen is another hobby. Usually I will do this with my partner at kitchen. I will give ideas about new items to cook and we both will combine do cooking. I like to try some innovations in cooking too. Finally, chatting through SMS and Gtalk is another hobby for me. Usually I will maintain contacts through SMS and Gtalk… I will keep on updating about my friends… Simply, my hobbies reflect how to live our life happily… My hobbies add more happiness in my life…!

My husband and I take turns mowing the lawn and this week was my week. I probably could have gotten away with only doing the front lawn, but since family is visiting at the end of the week and we’re going out of town soon, I decided it would be a good idea to clean up the yard and put away some things away for the season.

We don’t have a big yard, but it takes about an hour to mow. I put away our hammock, tossed some wilted hanging flower baskets, and trimmed some blackberry vines hat had grown through my neighbor’s fence into our yard. I mowed the whole yard, and slept the grass of the front walkway, before heading back inside.

I joined my husband for a quick shower and finally sat down for a break to watch a movie and check my emails.

I’ve gotten a lot accomplished, but the day isn’t over yet! I still need to put away some laundry and make lunches for the week, before being able to really call it a day!
